  1. It takes too long to navigate more than a few chapters in the same book by swiping (during a sermon or for reference). I suggest separating Book from Chapter/Verse in the header bar. Put them sise-by-side instead of above/below. Tapping the Book will go all the way back to book selection (level 1). Tapping on the Chapter/Verse will go back to level 2 to choose chapter (then verse) within the current book.

  3. Although you have many version of the bible available on AndBible you do not appear to have the NKJV available. If this is not true and the NKJV is available could you please point me towards it? (We all have a version of the bible we prefer and struggle a little if forced onto a different version.)

  4. Text to speech with syncronised Verse display.
    Like videobook.

I do understand that it may be some mobile phones too slow for that.
But just a few TvBoxes too slow.
Therefore it should as an option.
It could be that first time it would generate mp3 file with lyrics .lrc for whole book, and then you can run it.
But I suppose it would be awesome option.

  5. Add display of transliteration and glossa.
There are module with embeded transliteration and glossa {glossa are used both for transliteration or translation}.
Make AndBible able to display those tags, from coders view is as simple as displaying strongs.
And make posibility to display transliteration and original word together without space betwean.{and/or just above below}.
Idea does not need to be realised in enitiry.
But Translitaration of glossa apearance should not make world in orginal alphabet disapear. (It can be as an option.)

  7. I know there has been a movement to make the Bible read more like a modern book and demonstrate the flow of ideas by presenting it in paragraphs. We've always had that displayed with the 'paragraph mark' in times past. I find it much easier to quickly spot a particular verse I'm looking to read or even read aloud when my eye does not have to scan an entire paragraph looking for a tiny verse number. Each and every verse number needs to be large and at the left margin of the page or column. At the very least, let…

  8. When trying to find a verse you know is there somewhere, you can remember a word or phrase, you don't want to have to weed through every occurrence of all forms of that word or phrase. It would be a time-saving mercy to have ways to narrow the search results.

The same should be available as exact phrase, instead of words scattered about throughout a verse.

  9. Your users sometimes move away from Android to iPhone. In my case, I have possibly more than 300 awesome verses bookmarked and categorised. Please try to make it easy to set up And Bible on iPhone once a user have migrated away from Android. Thanking you in advance.

  10. Your Bible app are far more superior in performance and functionality than any Bible app on iPhone. Even better than e-Sword which is what I currently use. Please let us iPhone users have the same benefits as android users. Thanking you in advance. From a frustrated IPhone Bible app user.

  11. When I enter a note (in My Note) with a verse reference, make the reference clickable (something like RefTagger) so that the reference in the note links to the mentioned reference. For example, if I enter a note saying something like "See Matt 11:28-30", it will be efficient, if the reference (Matt 11:28-30) in that note is linked to the corresponding passage, so that when I click on it, it shows the passage in a new/special window. I'm not sure how difficult/feasible it is to implement this. Nonetheless, your service for Christ is much appreciated. Thanks for the option to…

  13. Background: I don't have time/will to type notes in the app, but a chronological list of the verses that stood out for me during Bible reading helps me to meditate for longer on them as I revisit the list. It helps me see patterns on what God is saying to me over time. And Bible supports this to some extent already through bookmarks (thank you!) but it needs improvement.

Minimal changes to better support this (in order of preference, even just one change will help):
    - allow bookmarking of verse range (else you have to bookmark each verse separately and…

  15. Could it be possible for users to add or remove buttons on the top bar? This would mean the user could customise the menu to their own needs, choosing which functions are most relevant for them. It would also mean that more functions could be added to the app generally, whilst avoiding the obvious problem of too many buttons on the bar, or even within the drop down further options menu.

This would probably need a menu item which would list all possible buttons each with a check/uncheck box.

Many thanks again for the best Bible App for Android!

  16. Just struggling a bit to manage (delete) bookmark labels. I created a dummy label to show someone how it's done, but now i can't remove it even though I've deleted the bookmark to which i assigned the label.
So please support the ability to edit and delete labels. Also please document in the help page (especially if there is already a way to do this).

  17. I enjoyed and Bible on my Android phone, but I moved to an iPhone 5 and don't find your app. And it seems to me that no iOS app is as good as yours. I am ready to pay to have the same quality app.
Thanks a lot for all the work done

  18. This is a really good Bible program. The only thing that is missing (for me) is Daniel Whedon's commentary. I reference his works frequently with theWord PC software which can be found here: http://www.wordmodules.com/the-word-modules/file/783-whedon-daniel-whedons-commentary-on-the-bible-14-vols/

  19. Option to add titles to notes will make it easier to go back and check the notes if I have to look for a specific topic. It is also convenient if there is an edit/delete button for notes so that the cursor is not active when I go to a specific note, as this usually allows accidental editing since the cursor is active.

  20. I have no experience with coding otherwise I'd just do this my. Could the weekly lectionary readings be added to the reading plan documents. It's a three-year deal.
