  1. This app is simply the best!

An option to toggle navigation of B/C/V by scrolling list columns would be great! I've been using this app for years, but still have an initial disoriented feeling when I have to switch to a different book. It makes it hard to keep up if I'm using it in a study or worship service.

  3. Don't lose the position in the search result. After the list of possible verses is displayed. If we visit one of the verses in the list, upon returning we return to the full list again and have to scroll down to where we picked the verse from the list.

  6. Just like you completed the suggestion to 'add an install option for user modules from zip', I suggest you 'add an archive option for user modules to zip' so that users can craete an archive of a bible translation or multiple translations and install it on another phone wether it be andbible or not.

  7. The window that the menu items currently apply to should be highlighted in some way. I never realized that the window had to be touched to allow the action of the menu items. Much confusion resulted!

  12. I have run across other programs these days that sync with Google drive, would like to be able to pick up on the same chapter, that I started on another device.

  13. This is a very nice program. I think it would be useful in a desktop version. Charge money for it.

  14. Can AndBible hide on-screen navigation buttons (i.e., enable immersive mode) in addition to the status bar up top in full-screen mode? This is often done for games in full-screen mode or eBook readers like the Kindle app, and I'd love for the same to happen to get an extra line or two of text (and fewer distractions) in full-screen mode in AndBible. A swipe up from the bottom should/could bring up the navigation bar.

    Thanks!

  15. It would be nice if I could import my notes from e-Sword X into And-Bible. I know that may be a stretch. But, it looks like it's sqlite3 databases with rows in RTF format. So, I'm hoping it's fairly doable and perhaps long-term even possible to edit them so that they could be synced via Dropbox/Google Drive/etc (even if syncing differences had to be manual).

  16. It would be nice to have a word count tool / heuristic tool to report which words occur the most. This could help with identifying themes in a given chapter, book, several books, or selection. It would also be nice if that tool had a checkbox type filter to hide common words like "a", "an", "the", etc.

Bonus points if it could also give heuristics for phrases like "Son of God" or "the law".

  17. Foonote references are shown correctly in the text, but there is no way to see their content. I would like to suggest to show these either dynamically or permanently in some area of the screen (split screen?).

  18. Downloaded maps are hard to find. At least once downloaded (maybe have the Map menu entry greyed-out until then), the user should be able to hit the Map entry on the menu availabile inside a chapter to select and view a map. Then, the user should be able to flip back and forth between the chapter and the selected map and/or show the map in a split screen.

  19. Just like creating a search index for a Bible that doesn't have one available for download, would it be possible to add a search function to general books? It would be convenient to be able to search for key words and ideas in the general books available as SWORD modules.
I suggest doing so through the "Create Index" button, like what is available for Bibles.

    Blessings!
