For poor vision elderly customers permit resizing of menu text and verse display numbers.
Am looking for a bible app for my elderly dad who has poor eyesight and easily tiring eyes. His large print text bible is becoming hard for him to read. Bright screens tire his eyes easily. Believe this app in night mode with the largest text setting would be something he could read. However, the menu selection bar text and the chapter / verse selection screens have no ability to resize text. They are way too small as currently formatted. I've downloaded dozens of bible apps and none I've found have the ability to resize the text of menus. The first bible app to provide this feature will probably have a lot of new users who just want the ability to do their daily bible reading without a lot of fancy extra features.

I would love to see this suggestion implemented. The Bible text can already be made large enough for many low vision people to read. Simply enlarging the font on the book abbreviations and the chapter and verse numbers on the navigation buttons would allow so many people to read the scriptures on a tablet independently. My young daughter would benefit greatly from such a feature. Thank you.

This is a good idea and something I have thought about in the past.
First I thought it might be sufficient to have a 'Poor eyesight' setting and if it is checked then enlarge the top toolbar, switch to large text and default to night mode.
However, you would also like to enlarge the passage selection text, which may not then fit. Did you realise that the current item under your finger is shown at the top as you slide around the passage selection screens - slide in a screen - don't just prod. I could enlarge the 'current item' display fairly easily.
In the past I have imagined a bible with nothing but large navigation buttons and TTS (Speak), but no bible text for those with very poor eyesight.
