  2. Foonote references are shown correctly in the text, but there is no way to see their content. I would like to suggest to show these either dynamically or permanently in some area of the screen (split screen?).

  3. It would be nice to be able tap and hold on a strongs number and look up all the references to it or to have it build into the dictionary so that when someone taps on a strongs number it pops up with the definition and under the definition it gives the option to find all references to that strong's number. I am just coming from ios and this is what pocket sword did, it was really nice!

  5. Some commentaries usually have highlighted text (bolded) to show the quotes from the bible. This makes it quite easy to find the part of the commentary that i am particularly interested in. At present all the text tends to blur together a bit.

  6. Am looking for a bible app for my elderly dad who has poor eyesight and easily tiring eyes. His large print text bible is becoming hard for him to read. Bright screens tire his eyes easily. Believe this app in night mode with the largest text setting would be something he could read. However, the menu selection bar text and the chapter / verse selection screens have no ability to resize text. They are way too small as currently formatted. I've downloaded dozens of bible apps and none I've found have the ability to resize the text of menus. The…

  10. I know there has been a movement to make the Bible read more like a modern book and demonstrate the flow of ideas by presenting it in paragraphs. We've always had that displayed with the 'paragraph mark' in times past. I find it much easier to quickly spot a particular verse I'm looking to read or even read aloud when my eye does not have to scan an entire paragraph looking for a tiny verse number. Each and every verse number needs to be large and at the left margin of the page or column. At the very least, let…

  11. I can enter the context menu of a verse by a long tap on the screen. But unlike the hyperlink behavior I expected, I do not get the menu of the verse I tapped on with my finger, but the menu of the verse currently selected - which is the topmost verse on the screen.

This is not only counter-intuitive but also raises problems how to get to the menu of the last verses of a chapter. Example: In Romans 13 I cannot scroll down any further than verse 11. So how do I make a note for verse 14?

  12. Could it be possible for users to add or remove buttons on the top bar? This would mean the user could customise the menu to their own needs, choosing which functions are most relevant for them. It would also mean that more functions could be added to the app generally, whilst avoiding the obvious problem of too many buttons on the bar, or even within the drop down further options menu.

This would probably need a menu item which would list all possible buttons each with a check/uncheck box.

Many thanks again for the best Bible App for Android!

  13. When you create a bookmark, it automatically gets marked with the "unlabelled" tag and you have to go back into the bookmarks menu to change/assign tags to it. Would be nice if, when you bookmark a verse, it immediately opens the verse tagging screen. Would be much more functional and a lot less screen taps.

Thanks for the great program by the way!

  14. Background: I don't have time/will to type notes in the app, but a chronological list of the verses that stood out for me during Bible reading helps me to meditate for longer on them as I revisit the list. It helps me see patterns on what God is saying to me over time. And Bible supports this to some extent already through bookmarks (thank you!) but it needs improvement.

Minimal changes to better support this (in order of preference, even just one change will help):
    - allow bookmarking of verse range (else you have to bookmark each verse separately and…

  15. This app is simply the best!

An option to toggle navigation of B/C/V by scrolling list columns would be great! I've been using this app for years, but still have an initial disoriented feeling when I have to switch to a different book. It makes it hard to keep up if I'm using it in a study or worship service.

  19. As it is now, while reading the Catholic Public Domain Version, continuing reading from Nehemiah brings you to Esther, instead of Tobit... You have to go to the book chooser, tap the upper-right "+" and then choose the deuterocanonical you need.
It would be nice if AndBible would respect the order of books of the canon of the displayed text, like Xiphos does, as of v.4. The book chooser could also display all the books of the specific text in one place, and in the order the text itself shows them (+ the alphabetical option). They could also have a…

  20. Your Bible app are far more superior in performance and functionality than any Bible app on iPhone. Even better than e-Sword which is what I currently use. Please let us iPhone users have the same benefits as android users. Thanking you in advance. From a frustrated IPhone Bible app user.
