To keep a simple interface for reading.

You have my vote for keeping it simple.
Scrolling with the finger is perfect for studying a passage, although it would be nice to have a range on the page that could cross chapter boundaries.
Volume controls are perfect for just reading and displaying whatever the page can hold. This lets you read with one hand.
In my opinion, no other features are really necessary on an interface.

Not sure while this idea is here - the full-screen reading is as simple as it gets. If you don't switch books, it's just as simple.
My vote is for keeping things as simple as possible.

Please keep the interface as simple as possible so it can be read without having to press buttons to reach the texts.
Please keep it so the application doesn't need to contact a server to say how long you have been reading or to load extra functionality before you load a bible text.
I my sound old fashioned, but I just want to be able to read the bible without stuff getting in the way. At least if people want all the wizz bang functions please let others turn them off so it can be kept simple if they want it that way.
Btw I love the red text feature and, I look forward to a full screen option.
